One of the techniques to be used by OIC is Deming’s Cycle which is Plan, Do, Check and Act ( PDCA) by W. Edwards Deming which states that ‘’business processes should be analyzed and measured in order to identify sources of variations that cause products to deviate from customer requirements’’. OIC will perform the following functions;
- Plan: Design or revise business process components
to improve the results.
- Do: Implement the plan and measure performance.
- Check: Assess the measurement and report the results
to the decision makers.
- Act: Decide on changes needed to improve the process
